How to configure Microsoft 365?

For those using Microsoft accounts, here’s a guide on enabling SMTP for your Microsoft 365/Outlook account, allowing you to connect it to LiProspect smoothly. Below are the steps to help you get started.

 

For Microsoft Accounts Purchased Directly from Microsoft:

1. Log in to your Microsoft Admin Center

   Head to the Microsoft Admin Center and sign in with your account.


2. Navigate to Active Users  

   Once logged in, find the “Active Users” section in the navigation menu.


3. Access the Mail Tab

   Click the "Mail" tab in the side window and select "Manage email apps."


4. Enable IMAP and Authenticated SMTP

   Ensure both IMAP and Authenticated SMTP are checked.


5. Save Changes 

   Click on "Save Changes" to apply the new settings.


6. Wait for an Hour  

   Allow around one hour for these changes to take effect before connecting your Microsoft account to LiProspect.

 

 

For Microsoft Accounts Purchased from GoDaddy:

1. Log in to Your GoDaddy Account  

   Start by logging into your GoDaddy account.


2. Navigate to My Products

   Go to the "My Products" section from your account dashboard.


3. Scroll to the Email and Office Section  

   Find and scroll down to the "Email and Office" section.


4. Click Manage All

   Select "Manage All" and locate the specific user you want to enable SMTP for.


5. Go to Advanced Settings  

   Click on "Manage," then proceed to "Advanced Settings."


6. Enable SMTP Authentication  

   Toggle on "SMTP Authentication" for the user.


7. Wait for an Hour  

   Just like with Microsoft accounts, give it about an hour before connecting the account to LiProspect.
